our Red Rocks
First I have asthma and had to start working out on the treadmill at our Recreation Center. I have been doing this for about 5 months.
Then I went on my first Fun Walk for Breast cancer. It was great! Now I am still in training for my first 5k walk on Sept. 24, 2011. My hubbie and I took a short hike at the park and it was great too considering that we had never done this before we moved to Arizona.
Then it got a little hot and we took a break. Then on September 11, 2011 we took a longer walk at the same park. It was a geology guided hike. At our first break to talk about the red rocks I had to use my inhaler once. But I was so grateful that that was the only time I had to use it.
My training worked out great. We started out at4000 ft altitude then hiked up another 250 ft. it was awesome and the views were a gift from God!
We will do it again soon.... thank you for letting me share..
