Here is the reason I started walking. I was overweight and a lazy good for nothing. Then I had my first heart attack, and another on the way to the hospital. After that, I started walking every day and have loved every minute of it. That was about 16 years ago.
This year I had another spell with my heart. I was out walking as usual and my heart starting beating in a bad way. I couldn't breathe and couldn't find my pulse. But in three weeks I was back on course with my walking routine. I also work out at the YMCA three times a week.
I still love every minute I walk!
