Bob's Update 7-1-10

by Bob
(California, USA)

Geoff and Yoko - I just wanted you to know that I am now almost completely off blood pressure medication, just a little bit more and I'll be home free!

My improvement in health started with this website and your excellent advice. I now am in the best shape I've been in 30 years! I have reached my optimum weight of 160, so I can cut my workouts down somewhat. I now walk every other day for 3-4 miles, either outside or on a treadmill, and do calisthenics the alternate days for an hour, which includes warmup and stretching afterwards.

My motto is based on the old Charles Atlas quotes of "train don't strain", and "step by step, and the job is done.". I say to myself, "never strain, forget no pain, no gain", and "don't dilly dally, get up in the morning and do it!"

How is it going in South America?

Best regards, Bob

Good for you. I'm new to this page so tell me how long did it take you to get to this weight, and walking that many miles?

Wonderful News Bob!
by: Yoko & Geoff

Thanks so much for the update Bob. Your progress is and should be an inspiration to all of us.

Keep up the great work! We may just have to use some of your 'inspirational quotes' in the future

Good luck too with shaking the last of your medications
